Welcome to my website. I am Tiago, a Software Engineer by trade. On the
Internet, you might see me go by sugo or sug0. I was born in 1998, so I am
considered one of the earlier progenies of generation Z (colloquially known as
zoomers). Well, not that I care, but now you know (for the meme). I was born in
a small coastal town in the north of Portugal known as Matosinhos, and have
lived there my entire life. I love being close to the sea, it is a blessing not
many get to enjoy.
My interests lie mostly in cycling, being a slob at weekends (we all love it sometimes, cmon), discovering different kinds of music, cooking (I kinda suck tho), producing songs (ditto), drawing (in another life, I might have been an artist… at least that’s what I’d like to think), and, obviously, writing (as well as reading!) code.
After many years (circa 2015 or so!) of running a website at gandas.us.to and freeloading a subdomain, I finally decided to purchase my own little corner of the Internet at tcarvalho.dev. It feels kinda professional slash cool, which makes me want to give myself a little pat on the back. Hah.
